"Listen lady, I ain't teachin' some baby horse how to fire a gun, so you can forget 'bout it."

"No, you listen Scout. While the spawner is being repaired we need replacements, and the portal was the only chance we had."

The Scout sighed. Even though he was thoroughly pissed off, this was why he was getting payed.

"Alright Pauling... but you betta' be tellin' the truth when you say this isn't forever."

The window was closed without warning, and Scout was left alone.

~~~~
"Ah, c'mon, c'mon! Where is that stupid animal?!"
Scout was getting impatient. He had been waiting for an entire hour, and his baseball rolled under the desk, leaving him without any entertainment.
"Need a dispenser here..." he thought out loud.
He paused for a moment, and then yelled.
"IT AINT THE SAME!!!"
Finally, the door opened up and his soon-to-be protege came in.
"What took ya so-"
He stopped in the middle of his yell and observed the creature before him.
It barely looked like a horse- more like something out of "one-a dem Mackey Mouse" cartoons.
A coat of cyan, bird-wings, GIANT eyes, but worst of all...
It's hair.
Rainbows.
Scout felt tears in the corners of his eyes, and was soon holding back sobs.
"Um... mister? Are you ok?" It said.
"Uh... *sniff* yeah... I was... um... eating some onions." Scout said, wiping his face.
"You were... eating onions?"
"Yeah... sure."
"Raw?"
"Well uh... yeah. 'Cause I'm... I'm just awesome like that." He said, puffing out his chest?
"I'm the Scout."
"Well hi Mister Scout. I'm Rainbow Dash, but my friends just call me Rainbow." She said.
"Well, 'Dashie', you better be ready for some speed training."
Rainbow, upon hearing this remark, flew up in his face, making him jump."
"Oh, you wanna see fast?" She asked, grinning.
"Go ahead Rainbow. Make my day." He said, matching her expression.
Rainbow then smashed through the window on the wall, taking to the skies and darting to and fro, finishing her maneuver in a sonic rainboom.
During the boom, she turned herself in the direction of the window she smashed through, screaming "LOOK OUT BELOOOOW!" To the speechless Scout in the window.
Crashing directly into him, the both fell to the ground, completely decimating the room they were in.
The Scout, now with a headache, opened his eyes and looked up to see the Rainbow pony on top of him.
"Well, how was that for fast?"
Scout looked at the destroyed room around him, and then at the pony standing on him.
"Girl, I think we are gonna be friends."
A couple of typos in this, as I didn't bother editing.
Hope it still looks nice.
