Memorial Day · 7:52pm May 26th, 2014
Dear Readers,
I'm making another blog post. I hope you all love my stories because I love to write them. But, the reason I'm making this post today is to remind you of what this day is for. Memorial Day is to honor our fallen men and women soldiers who fought for what is right and just on the field of battle. The interesting thing is that Memorial Day has roots around the time of the American Civil War. Memorial Day was originally called Decoration Day to honor the Union and Confederate Soldiers that died during the American Civil War. Eventually, it became a national holiday called Memorial Day to honor all of our fallen soldiers. So while your watching MLP, a baseball game, having a BBQ, or something else take a moment to honor those men and women who fell and give them the respect they deserve. I know I have. Thank You.
Sincerely,
The Prancing Red Pony
