It was great, in my opinion. the New version of Tirek worked very well, and I liked the reference to Scorpan. Discord was Great, and the writers threw me for a loop with him. I thought the Alicorn Amulet was going to be Twilights key because of her time with Trixie, But I was pleasantly surprised. And honestly how can you not like Twilights fight with Tirek? That was straight up awesome.
My only problem with it was that the transformations were ugly, but that's probably because Hasbro needed new toys and their reluctant to turn everyone into an alicorn.
I liked Season four over all. Sure there were a few less than stellar episodes, but there were a lot of Spectacular ones to make up for it, and it lands solidly in second place for best season so far (right behind season 2, in first place)
It had it's good and it's bad moments (trade ya is probably my least favorite of the season.).
I didnt see the finale but then season 4 left me thinking...*bleh * granted it had good episodes.
i agree season 2 was my fave.. but the season 3 finale was best.
