It appears we have come to my favourite category of writing. I don't mean crossovers when characters from other stuff end up in Equestria, I mean the ones where the characters are ponified and the story is retold using said ponies.
You have already seen one of mine in Doctor Hooves. I am currently in the process of writing another and toying with the idea of a new series but the one I am writing is going well. It's going to be long as fuck but there you go.
The idea of rewriting something in pony format is appealing to me because it means that if given the opportunity you can make changes to the story as you see fit and create your own alternate take on the story without relying only on the script for what you're basing it on. I am now going to tell you what I am working on, it's a Persona 3 crossover. And yes, that does mean I am retelling the story for Persona 3 and not just dumping all of those characters in Equestria.
The one of been toying with is a Yu-Gi-Oh! crossover. I'm a big Yu-Gi-Oh fan and it just seems right for some reason.
