This journal is probably going to stir up tons of hate towards me, but you know what, I stirred this pot with straight Bon-Bon so I think I can handle it.
In the course of this fandom's existence, there have been a multitude of artists that have gained a lot of well deserved reputation. John Joseco, Mn27, the living machine, tinuleaf, and many more.
But there is one specific artist that has gained a large following in this site and beyond. I will not reveal the name of said artist (for I do not wish to be held under defamation of character) but I will say that this artist's user name begins with an M and ends with a T.
I'm not going to say much, as I don't like being too wordy; but I will say this: This artist's work makes me want to vomit.
That is all.

Now, I'm not really against Rule 34. I quite enjoy it if it's actually well done and if it's both romantic and erotic. However, this artists crosses some many lines that it just makes me sick.
Hey I know who you're talking about. I do really like the artist's humanized pics, that's what got me in to them. And even some of the 34ish things done in good humor and context are funny and I get it. But some of the recent like... pedo-stuff... It is making me reconsider following them.
I know love and tolerate, and to each their own, and honestly I'm not embarrassed to be in the same fandom as this artist, nor do I wish them to leave or change who they are and what they do. I just do not to agree all the things they create. So yeah...

What creeps me out is the fact that huge amounts of people enjoy the pedo stuff. It scares me and sometimes, I wonder if I just just abandon this ship.

Every group and following have their crazies and their creepies. No matter what fandom you put yourself in, you will find individuals who sit at the far end of the curb who make others uncomfortable. Honestly it is reassuring that I am hearing another person showing concern, I'm with you.
Really in the whole scheme of things I don't want one individual or a minority speak for what I enjoy. There's been some good things that have come out of MLP and bronies, your stories for example. We do not need to like everything that calls themselves brony, I for one don't like brush-able pony toys (a bit too girly, I know I sound like a hypocrite) but other my die them. I think we have reached a large enough fanbase that we can delete, unsubscribe, unfollow, unlike, whatever it is that is bothering us and then go find something else in this vastness of pony famdom that we like to replace it. Or better yet make our own creative works to share ourselves.
