Magic Theories

So if you've seen the promo, and your familiar with My Little Pony history, you'll know that Tirac is the first villain in all of My Little Pony history. You can also tell that the final episodes of the season looks like its aimed for the Bronies because your soul being ripped from you body dose not sound vary 'girly'

And after watching that it got me thinking about souls, so here is my theory
Souls of ponies vary, if it's a unicorn, the soul taps into the horn letting them use their soul for different reasons. This is known as 'magic!'

Now I know this sounds ridiculous, but here me out. I'm going to explain how some types of spells work if we know it's just the soul.
Teleportation: the soul is moved to a different location! and because the soul cannot live outside a physical body! the body is moved with it. It's like an anchor.

Levitation: a small part of the soul is put into the thing you want to levitate, and because if your body wants to move, your soul tells it to. So when you want the object to move, it moves.

Physical spells: (age spell, gender swap, etc.) the 'magic' changes the soul, and when the soul changes, the physical body changes. Like when the soul ages, the body ages.

Elemental spells: (fire balls, ice, etc.) the soul makes a physical manifestation of an emotion. For example: Anger = fire
Isolation = ice
[I'm not sure this counts] Nature: (which we call 'Earth Pony Magic')
The same as elemental spells but instead it focuses on positive emotions

I'm not sure if this correct since one guy who works creating MLP says he absorbs magic, but it just could be a hoax. But this theory explains a lot about magic in MLP.
