Dear BMSers,
It's been some time since I posted here; apologies for the long wait as I have been very busy at my new workplace and everything.
I am planning some fan fictions to be started soon; among which there will be a fanfic called "Living on the edge" which will spoof some titles from Season 4 of the MLP cartoon series. As it is already I've started on the filming; and hope to get it done by June or July. Once again, Alberto Garcia, everypony's favourite indigenous Bolivian brony, will be the protagonist; and Derpy will be his favourite steed cum female lead in this series. Lots more new songs will be featured, as will a whole new drama storyline; no spoilers for now though as I want you all to have a pleasant surprise when it comes.
There are times when I thank heaven for new plushies coming my way; the looming presence of earth pony Cheese Sandwich -- my latest order -- makes him one of the most appropriate villain-ponies ever to appear in any of our fanfics; indeed Cheese Sandwich is the first official villain-pony we've got, following in the wake of Hasbro's Sunset Shimmer.
I've been a lifelong lover of opera -- I'm classically vocally trained as a tenor BTW -- and I've always wanted to see how our furry four-footed equine friends would sound like singing opera arias. Just think -- Rarity singing "In questa reggia" (from Puccini's "Turandot") ; Sweetie Belle singing "Ebben? Ne andrò lontana" (from Catalani's "La Wally"), and Big McIntosh singing the ever-popular "Toreador, en garde" (from Bizet's "Carmen")? Has anypony ever heard of any opera arias in MLP apart from Cadence and Chrysalis's duetto "This day"? I guess most likely not. But this time you'll be seeing a lot more in this new fanfiction.
Oh, if only the weather not so harsh, I would surely have had more energy to film down my fanfics. I do have time, but I don't exactly have very much energy; the weather only makes matters worse. Rest assured however that I will find the time to film the fanfics as and when I can, especially LOTE.
