Hello to thee. I see thou hath found me, in the end. But don't celebrate thy victory just yet, Mortal. My tale is certainly not done, and I doubt yours is either. You haven't stopped me, oh no. At most, you've only added another thread to the weave, another pebble in the pond. I'm not done with you, or your kingdom yet. I'm just getting started...
Did you truly believe you could beat me? ME! The Tale Weaver, the Devil of Stories! You're no Sorrel Cane, but a fool instead. A hero? A grand adventurer, seeking to end the threat of the Fate Weaver against his kingdom? You attack me, acting like a character in one of the stories I so bend to my will. Oh, but you're not just a hero, are you? Oh that's clever, very clever....
It won't be enough to save you, of course. I'll still win in the end. I am, after all, the Devil of Stories. It may not be my bread and butter, but I'll still drink the tea. Speaking of tea, would you care for some? No? Are you sure..? You never know when you'll die, ever cup could be your last...Then again, I suppose you're too confident for that. but you're not arrogant...You- no...surely not...Are you trying to change your genre? But in all honesty, what were you thinking? You and your band of friends, old and new- OH, you say you don't have one? Please, of course you do. Even if you don't think you do, you'll have one all the same...If you make it out alive and untarnished, that is. And the possibilities are endless. You certainly are something. I haven't had this much fun in ages! Pardon? You're not here for fun? Why ever not? We could have such fun, you and I. Battle, trickery, romance, and more! It would be wonderful! Oh...I see...You have to be the hero, don't you?
