So a while ago, I submitted Iron Mare to FIMfiction, right?
It got accepted a few times, but then stopped being submitted for "being a copy of the movie with RD subbed in" (or something like that). Anyone who's read the whole thing knows it's not a carbon copy of the movie (I've been working to take it in my own direction).
Anyways, the problem lies in the fact that it's telling me that if I resubmit the story again, I could risk losing it completely (I'm guessing deletion). I've been working on it for almost a year now, and I'd be mad as all hell to lose it, but I really want some recognition and traffic for the work I've put into it aside from whenever I post it on my FB pages. It also bothers me that Iron Mare doesn't even appear in my "written stories" thingie and it says I have zero stories at all... I want some traffic to my fic, but I don't want to lose everything I've worked on.
What should I do?
write it without making it sound like you just put RD in the movie? I don't know, mate. they don't just say these things for no raisin.

Anyways, I've been doing that. I've strayed pretty far from the movie by this point and it's kinda obvious by now that it's no longer trying to be the movie (at least that's how I feel).

how about this. before you submit it again, send a moderator a link to the story and ask them to go over it so that they can identify specific areas as to why they're telling you what they are.
also, if you don't have one already, get a Gmail account. it's got this cool thing called GDocs and you can save all the work that you've done on the story already onto the cloud so just in case they do delete it, you're not losing the whole year's worth of work, like you said.

Well, I know you don't want to lose a years worth of work, but it seems that there's no other option... Unless, of course, you finished the story and put it on another account...
