Hey everyone out there. I just wanted to say a quick hi, and I guess wish myself a happy belated birthday. Earlier this week I turned the legal drinking age where I live (in America) and frankly, I've done very little drinking. Really. Only one hard cider. One; and I was off kilter when I finished it.
A little sad, right?
Anyway, I guess I just wanted to say that currently, any of my stories I want to write, aren't gonna come out any sooner. I'm not tired of them, nor do I not like the characters. I think I'm just unsure about where the stories are gonna go now. It's all in my head, but there's too many paths they can take.
A friend of mine did give me my best piece of advice yet, though.
"If it's relevant to the story, write it for them."
I thank him greatly for that, but while I'm still counting down the days until I leave for Texas, I'm gonna replenish myself and read as much as I can. It's what I did before I wrote, so I'll do it again. I just need to re-read the one book that told me I wanted to write. It was a rough start for that author too, and I love it even more.
