Chapter 4 update + story ideas · 1:12pm Mar 1st, 2014
Top of the morning to you all! I just wanted to give you all an update on chapter four. I've been struggling with this chapter for about a week, now. Roughly half of it is written, but I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm waiting to hear my editor's thoughts to determine if I'm just being overly critical or if it really is sub-par. To add to my frustration, while I've been struggling with this chapter no less than three new story ideas have come to mind, unbidden. I have zero intention of starting another story until this one is done, but I figured I would ask your opinions about the ideas I have and see which ones incite the most interest. So, here goes:
First, a pony TwiLuna fic that involves Luna being depressed after her return, feeling like nopony appreciates her night still, and Twilight convincing her otherwise. They grow close, etc, etc.
Second, a humanised RainbowFire (henceforth referred to as the "stunt plots" due to an amusing spelling error) spinoff of my current TaviScratch fic, where they get called to wartime duty.
Third, a humanised fantasy story involving the Mane 6 as an adventuring party. I won't go into too much detail, but it will be D&D-ish, they will be the Elements of Harmony, Twilight will be a Princess, and it will contain TwiDash. Or maybe TwiXie. I haven't decided yet.
All of these fics will be rated at least teen - sex, two of them more likely mature. Anyway, I hope to have the rest of the fourth chapter written by Sunday night (no guarentees, as I'm back in my home town celebrating my grandfather's 90th birthday and, if last night is any indication, there will be a lot more getting completely shitfaced with my brothers and cousins in my immediate future. I'm still about one and a half sheets to the wind as I write this). Also, please leave me your thoughts and opinions about the other story ideas. Thank you; if you have any experience in/with the Air Force, I'll take you up on that. If not, I've been in the Army almost eleven years so non-aircraft/flight specific terminology I should be good on
