We're not dead! (Just to let you know)

    Greetings and salutations everyone,

First, let me humbly apologize to any and all of you for the lack of activity recently. School is taking up very much of our time and right now our main focus is the preliminary exams and our upcoming HSCs. To alleviate any confusion, we're based in Australia where the education system is different.

    Well, it's been a while...

    Howdy folks,

Looks like we're back! After a long couple months of studying, I think we're good to go back on the writing department. Sorry for being away, hell, when I joined up I didn't think anybody was reading these, but Astral insisted on it, so here it is...

The bane of many people's internet lives. It's a part of what we do, if you don't like it, you leave a dislike. The only thing that peeves me about this system, is that you, as the composer/writer/whatever, don't actually know what a member of your audience dislikes.

I'm gonna be clear here, if you leave a like, you don't need to comment, it tells me I'm writing well, and means I should keep it up. If you decide to dislike one of my stories, or anything for that matter, you can just tell me why. All leaving a dislike tells me is, well, you don't like it. What I want to know, is WHY you dislike it. If someone out there would tell me what I'm doing wrong, I'll happily do something about it. I haven't received any formal training in this field, and I probably won't, so this is a learning experience for me. Take my story, Ancient History for example, it has received two dislikes and no comments. Hell, I barely even began that story when I decided to post it. People on the internet are definitely not the nicest, that's for sure.

All that I'm asking is, that if you don't like one of my stories or think I'm doing something wrong, leave a comment.

Signed, Astral Star
