See, now this is just exactly why I always write things out in long-hand so I'll have a hard-copy version as a back-up before I ever even type anything into my laptop (or desktop). That way, if my comp decides to be stupid and erase everything, I've got the original hand-written one.
1842885 Fimfiction often jacks up and doesn't save, so I use Quick note and that's basically where all my stories are.

Quick Note, huh? I don't think that I've ever heard of it. I have all of my stuff in either MS Word, or Open Office (the latter of which I like better, as it's free and you don't ever have to pay some exorbitant renewal fee to get the latest version of it. Unlike MS Word.
