All right, for those of you who don't know, Equestria Girls 2: Rainbow Rocks has been confirmed. The basis seems to be the girls (yes, all of them. Twilight is back for some reason.) are in a rock concert, presumably in a competition. There's a preview clip over on Entertainment Weekly if you want to see it for yourself.
What do I think of this? Well I was among the minority who actually enjoyed the first movie. I own it on Blu-ray (after an aggravatingly long search) and still pop it in from time to time. Now I'm not saying it's a great movie- it's average and borders on bad depending on your point of view- but that doesn't stop me from enjoying it. So to hear there's a sequel makes my pretty darn excited. It looks ridiculous and I have a boatload of questions (where's Sunset Shimmer? How is Twilight back? Why is there emphasis on Vinyl Scratch? WILL SHE SPEAK? IF SHE SPEAKS THEY BETTER GET NOWACKING TO DO THE VOICE OF I SWEAR I'M GOING TO-)
Ok I'm getting off topic.
However I am a ridiculously firm believer in "wait until it comes out." Which is why I haven't completely lost all faith with the upcoming Superman vs. Batman movie despite their apparent atrocious choice of actors. So I will be eagerly awaiting the fall 2014 release of this film and I have no doubt in my mind I'm going to love it despite everyone else hating it!
So yeah. Rainbow Rocks. Bring it on.

Why wouldn't Twilight be in it?
2201162 I was referring to how the Twilight in the original Equestria Girls was just Twilight from Eqestria coming through the mirror; does this mean she came through the mirror again? Are we going to meet the Twilight that actually lives in the human world?
