ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!

"A mountain of papers, pay checks, notebooks, bills, and other crap sits infront of a computer screen, completely still. Then, out of nowhere, a fist punches through the top of the mountain, and starts to wiggle and pat around. Finally, the trash seems to shift and loosen, and an arm soon follows the fist... and then a whole human body promptly flies out of the pile, as if shot out of a cannon. Landing on the ground with a splat, the body just lies there, lifeless, except for the occasional twitch. Then, the body starts to stir. Using it's arms and hands, it pushes itself upwards into a kneeling position. Suddenly, it throws it's arms back, and raises it's fists at the sky. It open's its mouth and screams," I LIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally!! Goddess Damn!! I thought I would never be able to get myself from out under that pile of crap!

Sorry for the long absence children, I have been dealing two very important issues for the past several months. One involves work, college, and a conga line of people dodging flying 'goop' as it were. And the other... well... that pertains more to here.

You see, when I first started writing the next chapter a couple months back, I thought I knew what I wanted to do with the story, however... that doesn't seem to be the case any more.

For you see, one night, a long, long time ago- or two weeks ago as it were- I was sitting infront of my computer screem, staring at the work that I had written so far, and realized what was wrong with it, infact, what was wrong with most of my other writings i had attempted in the past.

I have no backstory. I had no context for any characters. A part of me didn't really have any interest in completing what I had set out to do.

I was about ready to quit, I tell you what, just give the whole thing up, when an idea struck me. An idea that had been buzzing around in my brain a lot longer than my current story. A new, fresh idea that suprisingly, not many people have tried, or have tried and it hadn't taken off.

Can you guess what it is?

I will give you a hint: A glaring hole, at least for me, in MLP: Fim's history.
