Where is the next chapter? · 6:44pm Jan 25th, 2014
Soooooo....I'm starting to get asked when I'll be posting next chapters. From the creator stand point I hate this question, I have a life, half a dozen original projects, two ask blogs on Tumblr, school and work. I'll update when I get the time!
Although, from a fan perspective I understand this question and am sympathetic. I also fallow stories waiting for the next chapter or in real life wait for the newest book too come out. That last part is more true then anything being a fan of comic books...I've been fallowing The Flash since before the reboot. I do it monthly. I've only missed on issue so far and plan to get my hands on it sooner rather than later. I understand the want...no, the need for that next chapter, that next installment, the newest episode, and then the creator in me shuts up and realizes how flattered she is to have people that existed for her stuff. Even if it's not the things she wanted people to get existed for.
One thing all my new followers (also thanks so much for fallowing me each and everyone of you is awesome and I'm sorry I didn't get to this sooner) need to know about me is this is more of a test for me then anything. The one thing I've loved doing ever since I was a kid was using my imagination and making up stories. It is the one constant in my life I can count on, and I will still enjoy it despite any challenge it might cause me. The thing is though I need to eat, so I need a job, and I need to go to school to get a better job. Above all else I want to help people. That's why I am going to school to be come a teacher, that's why I love making up stories. My stories are typically in good fun and tend to cheer people up, or make them think. That's why I do, and that's why I do it. The reason the question, "Where's the next chapter?" bothers my creator side is because she expects people to understand that these things are going to take me time, they're the last thing on my list (but always on my mind, mostly because people are so taken with them), and things that help me live or better yet help me reach my goal of helping people the only two ways I know how are more important to me. This sight and these stories are important to me because despite the fact these characters are not mine I can help expand their world, I can build up characters that might not get the attention they deserve or change them to someone that others never thought they could be. This is a test for me to see if I can build a fan base of my own, create believable characters using believable dialog, build a world (which so far I've failed at), and practice my grammar and spelling. No one fallowing me can tell me they haven't noticed all of the mistakes I've made, and I won't bore you with excuses as to why but know I'm trying to improve on it and I've taken on an editor for at least one of my fan fictions (I won't name names in case they want to remain unknown for what ever reason but thank you again).
So during this huge blog post I've just kinda been dancing around the question haven't I? To answer the question, it's coming. I can't tell you when, but I can tell you I'm working on it. If you really need something I wrote like this instant ask me about those pony blogs I'm working on, ask me for a link to that online review show/pony review show. Ask me questions about these stories or anything else I might be working on. Despite my limited time I do try to come on here at least once a day to see if I've gotten any comments, messages, or just see if anything new looks interesting to me. Thank you all for reading, I hope I didn't take too much of your time up, and I hope you'll stick around with me until that next chapter is uploaded.
