Pinkie Apple Pie Review

It took nine episodes to get a pinkie episode in season 4 and I'm happy to say it doesn't disappoint, I loved to see pinkie antics be the center of attention as they never cease to put a smile on my face, the song was fantastic though not much of a surprise since I was spoiled by the animatic that was released months ago, still seeing the the sequence being fully animated was great. The best part though was seeing all the apple family together and bickering, since my family has a tendency to get into arguments as well, the lesson played out very well, explaining that no family is perfect and that they should always remain at each other's side, plus seeing the twilighticous call-out was also a nice little surprise, and leaving the matter of whether or not pinkie pie is related to the apple family unresolved because seeing how the apple family accepted her without concrete proof made me happy, as it shows that family doesn't mean that you have to be related all you need is the love of a family. Overall this is a fun and lighthearted episode that does a fantastic job of giving us a great moral to go along with it and the final score is * drum roll *
