My First Story -- Hopefully of Many?

Hey guys! I'm terrible with this kind of thing, but I felt like I should make a post about my newest ideas...and see how everypony thinks about it? I know I'm not terribly well known around here, but I adore writing, and this idea came to me just today, so...yeah? Anyways, away with the rambling.

Where I live, there is precisely one month until Valentine's Day, or Hearts and Hooves day in Equestria. So, to go hand in hand with that romantic theme, I've decided to put together a few of my current projects into one spectacular piece based for that romantic day of the year. On one hoof, I've started a project where I draw a pony pairing, then write a story to go along with it. On the other, I've wanted to do a fuller-length novella-type FanFiction for MLP for awhile now. So I figured hey, why not make it into a multimedia series featuring both pairing drawings and the shorts in a sort of diary/journal type-thing, with each story connecting to the next? I would release one story per day leading up to V-day, starting with Rarity x Coco Pommel (because that's the first drawing I began) and going from there. I'd probably take requests of ships too, and they don't have to be entirely romantic! I'll do a sisterly one with the Princesses, friendly ones with the Crusaders and the Mane Six, whatever you want. It's fanbased, I suppose...and now I'm an awkotaco about it all.

But anyways, here's what I have so far of the Rarity/Coco story...

Dearest diary,

I never thought that as a mare of fashion, I could even have a chance when it came to falling in love. My true romance was with the fabrics in a perfectly-made dress. My heart lied with the gentle stitches that molded a pair of culottes perfectly to some mare’s body. My tender affections belonged only to my sewing machine and needles – but the moment I saw her, the entire world of Equestria shifted beneath my dainty white hooves. Slight as a kitten, cerulean blue eyes, glasses perched precariously on the end of that delicate cream muzzle – at first I thought my attraction to her was that of an artist to a model, but then it became evident that it was much, much more than that. She was indeed a model to me, yes…but that model was hardly one of fashion. No, Coco was a model of attachment, a model of affection, a model of perfection in every – single – sense of the word…and I’m sure you get my point. But nonetheless, little Miss Pommel caught my attention right from the start, just as she’d gotten herself caught in that thread she’d made me before I’d left from Manehattan that hoof-full of days before.

I dunno, it's just a thought...I'm getting pretty bummed about it now, to be rather honest. >.> But oh well, we shall see what happens.
