Beginnings are fun · 5:14am May 8th, 2012
Endings are hard. I have about four fics on the go, and I really want to get close to finishing at least one before I post any of the chapters. I don't want to leave a story hanging in incomplete limbo like I always do.
Sad thing is, the only story I'm at all confident in writing at the moment is a sappy romance-ship story. Ugh.
In writing it, I went and created a whole family of ponies for these two right here:
Aren't they cute? Picture courtesy of Briskby on DeviantArt.
I made parents, and then three siblings. In my mind, Berry is the oldest and Pina Colada is the youngest of five children. The story is set about eight years ago, when the mane six were still in high school, around the time Pina Colada was born.

Also, I love General Zoi's pony creator. It makes it possible for ponies like me, who can hardly draw, to actually create the ponies they're visualizing. I wish the cutie marks would show up better, but besides that I love the program.
Their mother, Vodka Sunrise
Dad: Whiskey Mac
Second oldest, Margarita:
Margarita like the drink (all their kids are named after drinks), which comes from the name "Margaret," which means Pearl. Hence the pearl necklace.
Middle Child: Martini Olive
Martinis make me think of M*A*S*H, and so does Olive drab. I figure Martin here is getting sick of being called "Teeny Martini" at school and wants to joing the army.
Second youngest, Lime Rickey
Once I get a bit more written, I'll post the story. :)
