What if suddenly being free of Nightmare Moon after being possessed for 1,000 years had been too much for Princess Luna to survive? How would this affect Princess Celestia, the Mane 6, and all of Equestria?
As this is a challenge, lets get some rules in:
1. Luna at least gets a deathbed speech before she goes, even if it's just "I'm free..."
2. Answer the questions "How might this affect the Mane 6 when they go to face Discord?" and "How will this affect the Royal Wedding?"
3. Because of rule 1, the death will be seen, however, it does not have to be on the day of Nightmare Moon's defeat.
Please leave a comment if you decide to take this challenge, though I don't see too many trying in the first place, what with the subject and all...
... Anywho, now that I got that out of my system, on to fics I may actually be able to do justice...
Hm... Interesting... I myself always found that, instead of Nightmare Moon being a possessing spirit of sorts, that the princesses had the ability to take on the full power of their astral body (Celestia the sun, Luna the moon). Despit this, I probably will end up writing this. Maybe, I dunno. I have limited computer access until our home pc is fixed, and until then I have an iPad, unless visiting my neighbor. So... Yeah. Can't guarantee I will be able to write this.
