I'm bad at asking for stuff

So I'm in the middle of working on a new project, which I'm calling 'The Music Mare', and I need some prereaders, because I'm not confident that my first ideas chucked onto paper are actually any good. I'm pretty confident that the ideas I'm having are somewhat decent, at the very least, but I really need someone to tell me what, exactly, is good and what is, to be blunt, complete rubbish.

They're not really there for proofreading, since I'm pretty good with the English language, but any sort of help would be welcome. This project isn't a one-shot, so the progress on it might be a little slow, especially compared to, well, a lot (it will be faster than a snail though, I can promise that.) But if anyone out there reads this and would be willing to help me straighten out the random things bouncing around in my head, I would be super grateful.

And, to give you a reasonable idea of what the story's going to involve, I'll give you preview thing.

The story revolves around an amnesiac mare who names herself Bass Clef trying to find her memory, and her way home, with assistance from a stallion named Hellfire, who supposedly is completely uninterested in what is happening in the world. The trip across Equestria has them bump into quite a few different problems, mainly an insane overlord who has taken over most of the country in the absence of the Princesses. This takes place many, many years after the show, so no canon characters will actually show up in the fic. A few might be mentioned, but they'll never have any real presence.

Yes, I'm aware that this is, potentially, an incredibly stupid idea, since quite a few people will not touch stuff like this. But since Fallout: Equestria and its ilk were such a big hit, and I've got about two people following me, I think I'll be okay.
