MLP Season 4 Little Review!

And...after waiting for 9 whole months, Season 4 is finally here! Having brand new pony episodes every week is just so awesome!! Right now 4 episodes have aired, and is it just me, or does the Season 4 episodes (e.g.Castle-mane-ia and Daring Don't) feel rather different from the episodes of the other seasons? Not in terms of the characters, but perhaps in terms of the plot and setting. But different or not, I have been enjoying them so far!

The Princess Twilight Sparkle episode left quite a deep impression on me. The Mane Six returned their Elements of Harmony back to the tree, and that made me wonder: Now that the ponies no longer possess their Elements, how are they going to defeat villains and protect Equestria? I am interested to see how all these are going to be explored in the future. And the box, I wonder what it contains? Is it something similar to the Elements? We will have to wait and see.

I like the message this episode conveys. Although Twilight is a princess now with so many duties and responsibilities to fulfill, her friendship with the other five ponies will stay as strong as ever. Being a princess now definitely did not separate them-it brings them closer instead! And Twilight will continue to stay in Ponyville too!! Looks like things did not change that much after all :)

The Castle Mane-ia episode was a really hilarious episode! It may not be as "deep" as the premiere, but I believe that now and then, we do need some light-hearted episode to cheer us up! I love the parts where the ponies got scared by each other. I would never forget Fluttershy's expression when she thought Angel is dead and Rarity's insistence on getting the tapestries :p

And oh, Rainbow Dash is so cute when she is fangirling over her idol Daring Do! I love the ending where they hugged each other and also the part where Rainbow Dash was like “Daring Do may be awesome, but I am awesome too”. Ah, it's great to see Dashie and her idol teaming up to save the day!

I am looking forward to watch next week's episode. Flight to the finish sounds like an episode with lots of feels in it, and I am definitely looking forward to some sweet sistery moments between Rainbow Dash and Scootaloo. Episode 6 would be "Power Ponies" where the Mane Six and Spike are transported into a book and become superheroes. Since this is going to be a Spike-centered episode, Spike is gonna undergo quite a lot of character development. Maybe he learnt that he can actually be a great help, and that he should never underestimate himself. This episode is once again a unique concept that makes it different from the other pony episodes.

I am excited to see how the rest of Season 4 will turn out to be like. We still have 22 episodes left, so Season 4 will be continuing on till around May! From now till May, more pony for us to enjoy! Yay! :D
