Hey everypony it us again Dragon Feather and Pony 101 and we have some rather good news, the dragonverse has been born!
Your all probably wondering what the Dragonverse is? what it has to do with MLP:FiM Fan Fictions? Why Pony 101 and I are so happy about it? why should you be happy about it or if your should care at all?
Well the Dragonverse is the headcannon universe that Pony 101 and I came up with that includes the four Dragon Pony types, the lands of Connamaraia several D&D orginal characters and a few video game characters in the the MLP:FiM universe.
This universe affects or fan fictions in the fact any stories written the Dragonverse all share the same timeline and event head cannon makingthem all set in that timeline.
This thing new working verison of the head cannon has made both Pony 101 and myself happy bacuse we now have an working timeline and set of events the allows us more freedom to wrtie character Like Savyna into our stories with change to much of the world around to fit them in. It also lets us use most if not all of the events from the series even future events as the happen in the stories with out change much of the events history.
This will mean less devations from the characters as most of us know them and more of time can be spent making working our orginal and the borrowed video game characters into the sotry and growing thier personalities and storylines.
We have don this to make our stories more relateable and to set our story world apart from others. Filly Foolin: An AJ Story and Filly Foolin2: Apples and Dragons are set in this universe. Future Projects for this new universe to come are Chasing Savyna Series, Quests of Connamaraia, Battles of Connamaraia and Love in Connamaraia.
What are the four Dragon Pony types?

In Connamaraia there are dragon earth ponies, dragon unicorns, dragon pegasi, and dragon alicorns. The ways that the differ from the ponies of Equestria are the following:
One: Dragon ponies have at least one parent that is a dragon pony or a dragon or of dragon blood in one way or another.
Two: All dragon ponies can use powerful magic know as/or referred to as dragon magic and a breath weapon of some type, usually fire to some degree even if it just to sends letters magical like Spike or to start a fire.
Three: All dragon ponies have two forms. The first is a normal pony form the which makes them indistinguishable from the other standard ponies of their type living in Equestria and/or Connamaraia. Their second form called Dragon Soul Form, shows their dragon heritage. In Dragon Soul Form all dragon ponies have wings, even earth ponies and unicorns which are leathery and similar to a dragon’s wing. In the case of a dragon pegasus their wings have scaled covered feathers and are twice as long and powerful versus dragon earth ponies and dragon unicorns.
Dragon alicorns have two sets of wings and the bottom set are always used for defense mainly and are similar to a dragon’s wing. They are covered in small close fitting scales that are super dense to resist magic or heavy impacts but are seemly light weight. The shed scales are often use to make armor for non-dragon friends and family. The top set of wings are composed of scaled covered feather used for flight mainly. The shed and preened feathers are often used for decoration and armor making.
All dragon ponies in this form have a pattern of colored scales that starts the foreheads that runs the length of the bodies, their height increases by an average of 6 to 18 inches. Their weight increases to match their new height, and they all have some form of horns, spins, fins, or crest formation denoting draconic family.
Until they learn to control the shift between these two form dragon ponies are required to wear a dragon stone that helps keep the shifting from one form to the other in check. Even after mastering the form shift many dragon ponies shift forms when emotional out of control from fear, surprise, anger, or upset. Some even shift when sick or allergic to something. This is way a dragon stone is always worn after mastering form change to help with this but involuntary shifts still happen from time to time.
Four: When shifting in Dragon Soul Form all dragon ponies have some form of magical armor usually just a collar holding their dragon stone. For warriors in the Wulin or soldiers in the army this can be armor and weapons. In the case of dragon alicorns who wear their magic armor in normal form this shift has two phases. The first is an upgrade form of the normal crown, collar, and shoes. The second form is a full armored form that is named based on the users ability.
An example of the Alicorn transformation is when Dragon Khalessi Sunburst uses her dragon soul form her collar become a half breast plate, her shoes add shinguards to her part of her legs, and her crown become a partial helmet with attached circlet with crystal visor. Her second form of armor is called Red Nova Burst Form. This form turns her collar in to full on breastplate, her lower legs and hooves are clad in armor with bladed edges, her crown becomes a full helmet with headdress, crystal visor and face guard, she even gets armor along the edges of her wings and down her back to her tail. It is colored red with white and gold rune marks and accents. In this form she wields a power transformable sword lance called Blue Nova.
An example of the Wulin warrior or soldier transformation is when Dragon Feather uses her Dragon soul form she gains a collar the holds her dragon stone , and horseshoes similar to the ones wore be all alicorns. She can just stop here but if she needs to fight she can have the armor take full form which makes the collar form into full breastplate with connecting armor down her back to her tail and armor along the edges of her wings. She gains a crown that become a half helm with crystal visor her lower legs and hooves are clad in light armor. She can also summon her three in one beast sword Dragon Liger. Her two forms are similar in appearance to both of Dragon Khalessi Sunburst's dragon soul forms since Sunburst was the one who raised and trained Dragon Feather to be a Wulin warrior. In that respect the Dragon Feather dragon soul form reflects this intense close sharing of power and familiarity as well as Feather's devotion and love for her martial arts teacher and mother.
An example of the a civilian dragon pony transformation is when Dragon Song, a dragon unicorn, uses her Dragon soul form she gains a collar the holds her dragon stone, and horseshoes similar to the ones wore be all alicorns. Since Dragon Song is just a martial arts student for fun and not a solider or member of the Wulin her soul form does not grant her armor or weapons but should she chose to change that her soul form will change once she selects a weapon and is fitted with armor. A magical grafting process will add the armor and weapon to her soul form when she shifts. A similar process to the grafting is used to remove armor and weapons from a soul form if the dragon pony in question chooses to retire and just quit fighting.
