Episode 3 and others... · 11:07pm Apr 28th, 2012
Hey guys!
I already finished writing Episode 3 of 'The Halcyon Days'.
First:
Though I announced in my last blog that this part would be shorter than the last one, it already has about 5200 words... (after all 1000 words...)
Anyway, the rough cut I had after my vacation had only been about 3000 words, so I really extended it a little bit...
But now, ignoring the word count: Let´s come to their content!
For me, personally, this chapter is more a filler than anything other. Though I had very much fun during writing.
As promised, we can see Bleach, Silverleaf and Twilight teasing each other in some situations.
But we also hear something new about Bleach, which explains his way of moving and acting. The ones who know my story 'Rising of Destruction' should already know it, but it´s may interesting for you how Silverleaf and Twilight heared what Bleach is and why he kept it secretly.
There is also a small intermediate scene with Twilight´s parents. I´m already thinking about a scene with Silverleaf´s family, but till now, I´ve no clear plans about that.
Anyway, we also hear how the trio got it´s closet hoofshake. I used this hoofshake only one time before, namely in the second part of chapter one of 'Rising of Destruction', and didn´t write anything more about it, because I was all the time planning an episode which showed its origins. For those who know this scene it´s may interesting to hear, what this origin is.
Anyway, so far to the present, let´s come to the future:
I´m also planning to incorporate Shining Armor in at least one episode. I already have an exact plan how to involve him, but there are two episodes until his appearance, that´s for sure, so...stay excited! ^^
To the next episode, I don´t want to say very much, because I don´t want to spoil anything to you. There are some scenes I´m still unsure about how to write them, so...yeah, as I said: stay excited... ^_^
Anyhow, the next thing I´ll finally work on is the next part of 'Rising of Destruction'.
It took me a long time to get a clear image of its draft, but I finally know, how I want to have it.
It´ll have exactly four scenes, the first of course: Silverleaf´s funeral. The others I´ll keep secretly.
I´m still unsure if I end it with a cliffhanger or not, I´m tending to 'not', but I´ll see...
What I can say is, that there are no other mane 6-characters in this part, I´m sorry. I simply didn´t find a way to involve one of them in a 'logical way', so you have to persevere till the third part...
Anyway, we will see our antagonist again and get a clearer image of his/her plans and thoughts. Like always I´m really looking forward to write the scene with the villain.
It´s also the last part with Nevio´s appearence, so prepare to say 'Bye' to him...
But we´ll finally see Spike again, who will appear now more often than before and will finally get his part as a main character in the story.
It feels like I finally have finished a long long intro.
Anyhow, I´m really looking forward for writing this part!
To say one thing to the new story I mentioned in the end of my last blog:
I´m still developing it.
But its structures are slowly getting clearer.
Hope to tell you something positive about it in my next blog.
For now, have a part of my inspiration for the story...
