What I learned from "Feeling Pinkie Keen" · 11:50pm Nov 13th, 2013
To the tune of "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat."
Dear Princess C, it's your student Twilight Sparkle
Today I learned, it doesn't matter if you're wrong
If you can get, lots of ponies to believe you
They'll make everyone else go along
And the ponies they said sit down, sit down you're rocking the boat
The ponies they said sit down, sit down you're rocking the boat
And you'll seriously regret it, if a word of dissent escapes your throat
Sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, you're rocking the boat
I told my friend that the Pinkie Sense was bogus, and right on cue, got my legs into a twist.
And then a cart, and a falling anvil hit me, but still I resolved to persist.
And the ponies all said beware, you think you're as smart as a whip
You're a very inquisitive mare, but you're captaining a sinking ship.
It's a waste of breath to argue, if you do you're dumb as a bag of oats
Sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, you're rocking the boat
I got attacked by a doozy of a hydra, my hair caught flame, I completely lost my gourd.
And there I quit, for I'd finally learned my lesson, the Pinkie Sense should never be explored
Now I say to myslelf sit down, sit down, you're rocking the boat
Don't go questioning things, sit down, sit down, you're rocking the boat
When you're dealing with Pinkie logic, scientific facts will never float
Sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, sit down, you're rocking the boat.
~Your faithful student
Twilight Sparkle.
