To those who have been wondering what the buck I've been doing for the past year... · 4:06am Nov 11th, 2013
In short, a few different things have kept me from really being able to write the last few... months. *shudders*
The fact that I HAVEN'T written much since, what, spring? Last winter? I don't know... anyways... There has been reason for this. The reasons are as such.
A. I am, by natures design apparently, pretty much nocturnal. This, in and of itself is not a problem. Some of my most productive times, I was staying up until 5-6 in the morning just writing!
B. Due to the lines of work that I had from last November to... Present. *a whole bloody year?!* I was having to wake up before the sun came up. If you add A and B together, you may be able to relate. If not, continue reading.
C. Due to my having to rise early, I was fighting my body's circadian rhythm(see Point A and B) and wasn't being very creative or energetic. I got into an unfortunate rut as far as my creativity goes because of that, and have only recently gotten out of it. Which leads me to my next point.
D. It's been so bloody long since I really wrote anything on this, that I did two things.
1- I misplaced my notes that I had for the next five or six chapters. Yea... bad mojo. I'll find them eventually but the fact that I lost my chapter outlines *I couldn't use my computer at work so I had to hand-write everything down...* just bugs the buck out of me!
2- Since it's been about six months or so since I posted anything on "In the dark of the night" and even longer since I posted anything on "On The Wings of Love"... I have to re-read over my own material to get my ideas going again... Yea, that's just bucking sad IMO.
That all said, I now have a night shift job, the creativity has been taking hold of me again, and in general, I'm a lot happier.
So hang on to your hats everypony, cuz DJ-Pon3FTW is BACK IN ACTION BABY!!!
Nice to see you back again. I know that feeling of being in a continuous slump for days or even weeks on end, feeling uncreative and lazy. It's a horrible cycle. Glad to see you've fought it and getting back into the groove of writing again
