My close friend - also the guy who turned me into a brony - has done a little bit of number crunching, and guesstimated the next season will start in August - four months away.
Four months!? I like fan fiction, and Super Ponybeat, but man cannot live on bread alone, can he? (Actually, I've tried. You need water, too, apparently.)
Despite everything, I almost wish he was wrong: that the day would come sooner, even. I respect - even revere - the animators of the show. Their work, if inconsistent (My Little Bloopers: Mistakes are Forever) is great nonetheless. But Celestia knows...There was only one inter-season gap; he could easily be wrong.
I don't know, really. It'd be nice to have some ponies over Summer Vacation; school starts back up in August, the date growing closer to the start each year. In fact...I'm willing to bet that, before he graduates, my brother will have to go to school before his birthday (August 23). I'll stake me collective internetz on it. But I don't want to overwork the animators, either. Maybe if we had some bronies up in there, maybe push a few episodes out during vacation...Hah! Why would anyone animate ponies unless they loved ponies? I wouldn't, if I didn't. But I do, so I would. If I could animate. Sadfaic!
Anyway, that's about it. Good lord, I need to catch up on my favorites list. 14 new chapters, and I've been putting those off for days. :Derp:
