I'm at a loss. · 6:30am Nov 5th, 2013
I've attempted to start about 3 stories, and each one has failed entirely. The reason is simple:
I put in too much effort.
Normal people create a draft, revise the draft, revise it again, and then finalize it. I just can't do that. Whenever I write essays or short (non-pony) stories, I just do it all in one go, and for the most part it goes well. But for anything over 1500 words, I just can't do it. I've acclimated myself to that method too much, and now it's too difficult for me to do it properly. I'm just too much of a perfectionistic get-it-done-now sort of guy.
Also, I have no idea how to start a story. All my attempts have been too dry, for lack of a better term.

On a brighter note, I bought some new hiking boots. They're real purty.
