    IIIIIII'M BAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!

    Well, sort of.

I have finished all revisions to chapter 1-7. There are a few large changes and dozens of smaller ones. There are several new scenes and a few removed ones.

A few of things I added are very plot important so you guys may want to go back and check them out. If not, well, to each his own.

    Going on Hiatus.

I believe it's time to make it official. I'm going on a Hiatus on RES Rising Moon. I haven't been able to really get anything written for a while now, and my story isn't at a level of quality that I want it to be. So I am going to be taking this time to make major revisions to the posted story, re-think what I want to do with this story as a whole and find some dedicated pre-readers and maybe

Well, sort of.

I have finished all revisions to chapter 1-7. There are a few large changes and dozens of smaller ones. There are several new scenes and a few removed ones.

I am now working on chapter 8 and it shouldn't be too terribly long before that comes out, and then I should be back to regular updates! Woot!

As an aside, I would like to address thespecialneedsgroup. In regards to the idea of 'no magic in swordfighting'. I would like to apologise to you for ever trying to defend that idea, it was a bad system that I tried to use to justify another plot element, and it was just an all around bad idea. This has been edited out of the story and that scene is quite a bit different now.

But, I digress. Please enjoy the updated story! I will take off the 'On Hiatus' tag when I finish chapter eight.

Cheers!

Good to hear! What were the big plot changes?

1475636 Yeah, I should probably just tell you guys for those who don't want to read back through the whole thing...:twilightblush:

Well, in chapter... 5 I think, They realise that the griffon ship that attacked them is now chasing them, they are able to see the ship behind them. Also, the damage to their own ship is severe enough that the larger mare-of-war might be able to catch them before they reach Trotuga.

I slightly reduced the severity of Rainbow Dash's PTSD, I took out her second dream, and put in a little more explanation to what she's feeling in a couple scenes. There is another new scene with her at the end of chapter 7 that delves somewhat into her plight.

I added a bit more characterization to some of the side characters like the Doctor and the Captain. Other than that there are too many little changes and alterations for me to go into here.

1475691 good to know! Hehe

Why does Adventures Aboard the R.E.S. Rising Moon have a gore tag, but not a dark tag?

It's probably meaningless to respond after so long, but I want to, just the same. I never realized that you had addressed my comment specifically in a blog post; it turns out that I hadn't been following you. That's a mistake I've corrected, and you will now appear in my feed when you decide to return--and I sincerely hope you do.

I happened upon this blog post because I was reviewing the stories in my favorite stories folder, where Adventures Aboard the R.E.S. Rising Moon continues to hold a prominent spot. An apology was never needed or expected, because you had done absolutely nothing wrong. The world in which Adventures Aboard the R.E.S. Rising Moon is set is completely your own. You set the rules, the customs, and the traditions. Make no mistake, that world is an interesting, exciting place, and I'm just happy to have the chance to explore it a little.

When you continue, I will not be alone in my delight at the opportunity to see more of the R.E.S. Rising Moon. So, please, if my comments caused you to doubt the story, your skills as an author, or discouraged you in any other way, I ask you to accept my sincere apologies.
