The Glory and Majesty of Fall

The following is a piece of non-fiction writing that's not really pony-related, but I wanted to post.

I was taking a walk this evening- it was a very beautiful walk. It was the golden hour - the hour between sunrise/sunset and darkness that photographers love best for its softer shadows. The temperature was perfectly crisp, and the trees were changing into all their golden splendor. The sky fluoresced in brilliant hues of pink. I walked along my suburban neighborhood with my father, viewing the trees and otherwise alone in my contemplative thoughts. As the sky darkened and I took in the scene, I thought about just how truly beautiful the world is.
