Well, after thinking about it long and hard, Aria doesn't need to fight some crazy bloodthirsty enemy for a character introduction in Equestria. This world is far different than the war-torn worlds I've journeyed to in the past. I had forgotten that. I think its time my writing follows my personality, it needs a change of pace. Expect some more "Magic of Friendship" style writings from me in the future. All is fair in love and war, but when Harmony is abundant and the magic of friendship holds strong, war has no place. Its time for some fun stories. Let us leave the killing, destruction and hate back in Azeroth, Gielnor, and the rest of the universe corrupted by the seeds of hate.
Stay happy my friends!
Sounds cool enough . From what I read of your fic, it was great but a little raw. It says here you're looking for your writing to match up with your personality more: In that case I'd say go for whatever ideas entertain you the most. It's not like you can't come back to this sort of writing once you find it easier to assert your style.
By the way, my page lagged halfway scrolling down that picture, it got stuck on 'The longer you stare, the bigger your'. My face when I saw that
75658 oh man lol the implications there were completely unintended. *In auisoto voice* "CURSE YOU LAG SPIKES WAAAAAHAHAHAAAA!"
but yea. ive written so many dark and war style back-stories in the past just to relieve the hate i kept inside and how i felt prior to ponies that i had forgotten how to write something joyful and meaningful. If ponies could fix my depression and hateful personality it can fix my writing as well. Got a few more fun and adventurous crossovers/originals in the works so expect to see them.
*spoiler alert* : 1 involves a Daring-Do story and the other involves a big competition involving the Wonderbolts. Gonna be fun to write. not sure if they will be very long though. I don't like to ramble in my stories as much as i like to ramble in my blogs and conversations.
75670 Good to know you're tackling stuff that can make you smile, but don't feel bad for writing darker stuff if it was a true representation of your emotions at the time. I'm looking forwards to reading them, particularly the Daring-Do one, I think she's become one of the greatest gifts from the show to the fanbase in what you can do with her . I've had an idea since the last episode for a Daring Do/Con Mane fanfic, but I'm still picking away at this 'Pinkie Pie finds a new job' (not the title) for a month now so I need to get that sorted first.
75686 good luck lol. just finished the last chapter now. its such a happy ending. i cant wait to get it up on here for others to read. its the Aria version of how i felt once i learned about Ponies.
