So I've accidently written two chapters of a completely different story

Title says it all really. As a bit of fun-writing/creative work while I try and get past my writers block, I may have accidently written the beginning of a new story. I've also went a good bit aways from what I normally write. It's not really a shipfic, a jokey story or even just something sad-bad (see eyes of a mother for an explanation. Actually don't, I'd rather forget about it myself.) but a full fledged fantasy story. I know what you're thinking "Sugar Moon, mlp is already a fantasy story, pastel coloured ponies that control the weather or shoot lasers out of their horn aren't real. Idiot." I know, I'm quite aware of that but that's sort of what I mean. First off its humanised. NO,NO COME BACK! DON'T RUN!

Still with me? I hope so. Anyway yes, it's a human story, not human in Equestria but an honest to goodness adventure story set in a fantasy setting with mlp characters as the protagonists. Yes, I've went that nerdy. If you're with me so far you know that there are great stories out there that do similar things. SUch as Merc the Jerk's "The Laughing Shadow" or Mariacheat-brony's "Applescratch toward the world". The thing with those stories is that they are so very recognisable as a mlp fanfic, it has cutie marks, three different races etc. Mine on the other hand slightly dishes away with that part of it. The characters are still there, recognisableand in character plus they all keep their names (e.g. Twilight Sparkle, Big mac); I haven't tried to humanise them. I'd describe my story more as a mix-up of WOT and Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller chronicles with elements of DnD. Only crappier. What can I say, I can't write like Jordan or Rothfuss but I still think it's a fun story none the less. The main leads are Big Mac, Time Turner and one other.

I honestly don't know what else to say. The reason for this whole blog is whether or not I should post it. Like I said it's rather far away from what I usually do and my worry is it's too far away to be classed as a mlp fanfic. I mean when does it stop being fan fiction and just fiction. Maybe I'm just being an idiot and that it's not as original as I seem to think it is. Anyway your thoughts are always appreciated and I'd love to hear your opinion good or bad.
