I Finally have my hands on a new computer and a stable internet connection so I wanted to welcome myself back with a blog post and some teasers.
Here's a a few stories Ive gotten written down and nearly ready for Publicaton:
Another Scootaloo story focusing on what happens when a Filly manages to take the wrong path and ignores her true calling and talent in favor of making her friends and family proud. It works on a few of my story ideas I had combined when i decided on Scootaloo over an Original Character, it will focus on her introduction to a new and upcoming sport, struggling with her relationships in Ponyville, and her lost childhood due to her rushing to find her cutiemark which results in her giving up on her childish joys and her early chance at finding her talent.
A Biography on the Mayor Mare and why she continues to hide her identity from not just the Ponyville populace but also the Royal family. Possessing a talent with the capabilities to overthrow the princesses and the entire social order of Ponies as a race. The Mayor has a few things she wishes to be written down in history, even if they could result in her exile or possible execution.
Finally a short story about Celestia's and Luna's origin as Alicorns, as well as how they chose to give up on they lives as normal fillies to bring order to their struggling nation for the sake of bringing the 3 tribes together under 1 rule. This is really just an attempt to piece together the few pieces of Equestrian history (that we know of) together as well as some thankless pandering of Tia and Lulu as loving sisters who took hold of the burdens of this world.
And lastly a story I'm having some trouble with surrounding Queen Chrysalis and her life as a young princess Changling and her rise to power over her race. Originally a story of Chrys's love-life during a rebellious teenage phase, it turned into a story of her own inability to complete her disguise and how her ascension to leader of her subjects came at a great break in tradition which would force her to quickly mature and take care of the basic needs for her people. Basically I wanted to destroy the image of her as a villain and turn her into more of a immature sheltered child who can only make rash decisions and half-baked strategies.
Hopefully I'll publish atleast one of these before the years over, look forward to it.
