The darkness around me shows no sign of lifting. Though I fight on, it shrouds over me like a cape. Blocking all sight. Days, months, years pass with no change. Then, I see a stream of light. As i run to it, unknowing of what it may be, a figure starts to form. A being with a kind voice, similar to that of an angels. Hair, a dark brown with a light flow in the wind. As the hand of this being reaches toward me, I hold my ground. “Let me show you the power of a true love.” Says the angel. Slowly i move forward, reaching to see this “love”. Slowly, the darkness cracks & falls around me. As my eyes are released & I can see clearly, the face of this angel has a smile unlike any I’ve seen before. Eyes, as beautiful as life itself. It was then that i realized it was you. And that my heart had been lifted from pain & would not need to worry about being dropped again.
