A Vacation-Trip and its Result · 1:07pm Apr 18th, 2012
Hello hello, everypony!
I never posted a blog before, but I think, it´s a good time for this now, because I´ve some news for you since my vacation-trip last week.
Well, though I was away on vacation (or because of I was), my work on my stories didn´t stop. I used the time to relax from work and for a thing I usually haven´t very much time for in my day-to-day life: writing.
I know, for many people, it´s work too, but I can leave all my cares behind during writing, so I took my notebook (alas, not my electronic... ^^) and ballpen with me and used some time writing on the next episode of the story 'Halcyon Days'.
And what to say, but I wrote the whole chapter during this week!
Now, I only have to write it down into Word, correct grammars, research words I didn´t know one-hundred percent, revise plot and dialogues and so on.
This time, it´ll be a more shorter episode than the last one, which was with 6000-7000 words a little bit longer as I first planned.
I don´t want to spoil too much for you, so I just say: We´ll see Twilight, Silverleaf, Bleach and some funny moments of friends teasing each other.
I also planned the scenes for the next part of 'Rising of Destruction'. I´ll write this part after I wrote the episode I mentioned above. It´ll show Silverleaf´s funeral and the departure of Twilight and Bleach and will end at the day´s end. I´m still unsure if they´ll meet the first of the other Mane 6-characters in this part or in the next (I´ll see where my mind roams...)
What´s absolutely sure, is that I´ll connect a song-link to Silverleaf´s funeral. but I´m not quite sure, which song I should take. Sure, 'Ave Maria' would be the classic, but I thought about something more...contemporary. To my actual short list are counting three songs by 'Unheilig'. I know, it´s a german band and you may won´t understand the text, but don´t worry: I´ll translate it for you. (I at least try it...) If you are interested into my short list and want to help me finding my song, I´ll list them for you. But if you don´t want me to spoil them to you, just don´t click the links.
And the last thing I got: An idea for a new Adventure-Story!
I know, I already have an Adventure-Story, but this one would be different.
The major concept would be, that Twilight is thrown into a kind of 'Dreamworld' (and no, this isn´t a Kirby-crossover!) where´s one ruler for the 'good dreams' like career-dreams, dreams of love or where you are a great hero, and so on, and one ruler for the 'bad dreams' or nightmares, which are also splittet into different kinds of nightmares.
Each of these 'departements' has a ruler for itself and...yes, their duty is to keep balance between the ponies´ dreams.
I planned, that Twilight is called there because of a wave of nightmares hitting Equestria and she has to fix it because of her magical knowledge, and so on. The trick is, that everypony she´ll meet in her dream will look like one of her friends and enemies and also has its features, but still won´t be the same pony like its visual counterpart.
The dreamworld for itself should consist of three 'spheres': The sphere of the dreamers, where everypony´s soul´s coming to to dream, an intermediate sphere and the sphere I simply call 'Dreamworld' until I found a better name. This should be the place, where the main story takes place.
It´s the place, where dreams are made and sent to the dreamers.
Sounds all a little bit confusing and complicated till here, but that´s why I´m still planning and developing it, right? ^^
Anyway, I can at least say one last thing: The whole story should be written like a bedtime story and, practically, should also be one. As some kind of frame story, you know? A mother telling her little daughter a story before sleeping.
It surely will be funny to write like that way. It´s definetly a new expirience I´m looking forward for!
