For your situational awareness

I guess I should have started somthing like this when I first started writing. Would have been smart. Anyway I figured since things are happening in my current situation I figured you guys who actually read my story could use a stirep. Cause you know, life n shit.

For those who give a shit, I am currently an Active Duty Marine stationed in Hawaii. I have served for almost 5 years now, reached the rank of Sgt, and have been dealing with the responsibilities that come with said rank. I got into the Brony community around the end of season one when I decided that if the internet was so stirred up about a show about ponies it was worth checking out. Checked it out, and don't regret it, for it also lead me to Dr. Who. I love how both fandoms pratically intertwine now.

Anyway, my time in active duty is almost done. In the begining of next year I will be discharging from active service into a reserve component. I have mixed feeling on leaveing but I've made my decision. This will lead to me haveing less time to work on my story. Now you may ask, "Wait, If you're getting out, won't give you more time to work on writing?" No. No it won't. The Marine Corps has a plethera of classes and processes for a Marine trying to seperate go through in order for them to leave. So slice some time off from there. I have also started a new workout regiment. I would like to somday be in the shape that I have dipicted Bosco to be in. This won't necessarily take more time away, but there will be some days that I will be too dead to move.

Theres also a few things I plan on attending before I leave that will take time away as I prepare for them. Firstly is the Marine Corps Ball in November. A celebration of the Marine Corps birthday, and an occasion for us all to show off the proud tradition we have upheld for the past 238 years...and to get completely shit housed drunk. (We were born in a pub after all) After that there will be a shooting competition that I will be training for in December with the actual competion taking place in February right before I leave. As I take marksmanship very seriously, and I pride myself on my ability as a marksman, I won't be working on my story at all during those months.

So thats whats going on with me right now and I figured I would give anyone who cares enough the cortesy to know. So yeah...thats the thing. I hope to get the next chapter out before November.

I guess I'll take the last bit to thank those who read and like my story for reading. I apologize that the updates will be slow over the next couple of months, but life has to come first. If you guys want to know anything else about me personally let me know. I don't really like posting stuff about myself unless asked or needed.
