News of the week 4 · 10:13pm Sep 30th, 2013
Hey everyone, sorry for this NOTW being two days early but I won't get the chance to write it on thursday. I'll be off to my Grandads funeral from wednesday to friday.
But with the bad news aside, lets move onto something else. First off, a big thanks you to all of you for getting me up to 30 watchers, it may not seem like a big thing but to me it is so again thank you :D
I have decided on a schedule for my stories so right now I'm writing a chapter for "A marines Peace", then I will work on My little dead space, then Friendly enemy and repeat it in that order instead of it being at random.
Question of the week: Starcat5 asked "Why not write over the original story for Friendly enemy instead of making a separate story"?
Answer: There were many different reasons why I wanted to make a separate story for the remake instead of writing over the original. However I'll only give a few reasons seeing how it's quite late over where I live. Most of the chapters will be written in longer sections and chapters which may span over multiple chapters from the original story, probably confusing newer readers.
I also decided that making another story would help attract more readers, let them enjoy the story from scratch instead of reading the original where the paragraphs go on for too long, making the story confusing as I've been told in comments.
And the last reason I'll give as many elements and scenes of the story will stay the same, I've had enough time to also add and take away different part s of the story which will be revealed in the later chapters of the remake. Most will be minor details while others may take a different turn to the original, making it a near completely different story, which is why I felt doing the remake in a separate story seemed appropriate. That's all the reasons I can give for now.
Thats all the news from this week, NOTW will still be uploaded on its usual Thursdays next week. But for now, cheerio
A pleasure to watch you. Your stories have been very entertaining so far.
