I had an interesting bus trip home today...

I was sat on the bus on my way home from college, just chatting away to some of my new friends, when someone got on. This guy was just on his way home from a tour of duty, he was dressed in full camouflage gear and had a huge ruck-sack that he placed on the seat next to him. So, the girls who were sat on the bus behind me began to flirt with him, with no success as he was married (I saw the ring). So after they talk for a while, the girls asked where had had just some from, so he told them he had just gotten leave from camp Bastion. Now this is where it gets interesting, because afterwards the bus arrived at the mans stop, so when he stood up and retrieved his bag one of my friends said "Can everyone just give him a round of applause for doing such a wonderful job?" So that's what everyone did. All of my college mates, the randomer's on the bus. Hell, even the driver gave him a clap at his stop. When he got off that man had the biggest smile on his face I had ever seen in my life. I some how feel that he wont forget that bus ride anytime soon...
