A Brief Introduction...

I have proofread/edited fanfiction of varying lengths, as well as manga. Since joining Equestria Publications, my preferred methods for editing have been a combination of Google Docs and Skype. The Skype is obviously optional, but I have found it to be an invaluable tool for larger collaborations and projects where a bit more dialogue between editor and author is desirable.

My philosophy in editing is to take the least invasive course of action. By this I mean that I do my best to limit undesired influences on what I'm working on. The uniqueness of an author's voice and their work are of unparalleled importance to me. Naturally then, my editing tends to focus on language errors like faulty punctuation, lack of tense consistency, poor word choice, etc. However, I also like to direct an author's attention to issues of ambiguity, paragraph structure (or lack thereof), and stylistic inconsistency.

All that being said, I'm quite fond of writing. So, if any author is interested in assistance planning a story or rewriting one, I would be more than happy to help. My own personal writing tends to gravitate towards Fantasy/Sci-Fi and Adventure in both short story and novel formats, but I'm comfortable writing just about anything. Larger length would be appreciated for that type of project, though.
