My Review of "Seeing the Pattern" · 2:56pm Jun 28th, 2012
What if you were trapped in your own mind? What if you were only free at night, and then had just two short hours to prevent somepony's death? Welcome to Pinkamena Diane Pie's Nightmare.
Using the cryptic powers of Pinkie Pie's Pinkie Sense, join Pinkamena as she deciphers the clues and discovers Death's plan. A reluctant hero, she has NO friends and doesn't want any, especially that annoying pony Lickity Split.
Pinkamena is a very angry character, eternally alone and forced to keep her identity secret. She's rather lost at first; all about the mission, but things change for her when she accidentally makes a friend. She grows as a character as the story progresses, and by the end you can see the subtle changes.
There are a few surprise twists and some mature subject matter in the story. Overall, it's very well written and worth reading.

There's a sequel, and I plan to review it as well, but I haven't figured out how just yet.
