A little bit about me

Well if you are reading this I suppose that I have done something right... or wrong. Let me know what you think of my stories. I want to know it all from what you thought of the story line to the words I used (or didn't use) even things like sentence structure. You see, I have this thought in my head that I am going to be a best selling author some day; but the price is I have to write a million bad stories first. I think I am on number 40-ish so I have a ways to go yet. I do think I am at the point where I can start sharing my stories with the public. I want to hear everything so let me know what you think.

So here are my known trouble areas:

Character Development: I am not sure what the problem is exactly, but this is something I have the most trouble with. That is why fanfictions are nice. You already have developed characters to use.

Dialogue: I am really good at communicating verbally, getting it on paper is a different story. I feel that most of the dialogue in my stories ends up sounding cheesy.

So now that you know why I am here, maybe just a little about me. Well first things first, I do not consider myself a brony. I have watched the shows with my brother's kids but that is as far as it went. The reason I am writing the stories here, and I mean this with all due respect, if it turns out that what I write is bad or people here just don't like what I do, then I can leave with out any real loss. This is a site for people who write pony stories, nothing serious. That being said I have read a few of the works on this site. I will not critique them because i don't feel qualified, however I did find some of the stories enjoyable to read. I think the time I will spend here will be enjoyable, and I am looking forward to it.

I am 26, male, and live in a small town. I have a degree in Criminal Justice that has gotten me nowhere in life, but I currently work for a large store as an assistant manager. I work a lot with firearms. I am not one of those idiots out there that is paranoid about invading zombies or something like that. I am a firearms professional. I reload my own ammo and I do minor gun smith work. If you have any questions about firearms I would be happy to answer them.

Subjects that I would like to stay away from are politics and sex. I have strong political views and when people get into it with me about it I usually get banned from sites. Sex deals with a lot of things. I will not write any stories with pony sex in it (I have seen enough horses mating to know that it won't be as fun as people would have you believe). Also in that category is orientation. I honestly don't care who you are attracted to, just don't shove it in my face is all I ask.

Any way I have a story already for uploading. I am revising some of the work but it is 90% or so done. I look forward to reading the comments.
