    Hello, World!

    Dear Reader,

Today has been a good day. It is Sunday, and my very first MLP fanfiction has already garnered a small bit of attention. I say small bit, because thirty-odd reviews for the first chapter would be considered exceptional on my usual haunt, Fanfiction.net. But here it seems rather commonplace. However, I am grateful that I am at least not beneath the average.

I would like to speak for a moment, if you'll permit me, about my story, My Little Reality Show.

Firstly, reader interaction is strongly encouraged. That means I want to hear your predictions and hopes, and you're expected to vote in the upcoming poll on who will be voted out of the House. Yes, dear Reader, you will have a direct involvement in watching the ponies you know and love battle ruthlessly for a million bits!

Being the author, I of course have the advantage of knowing what is going to happen and who will be nominated. The delightful suspense you will hopefully experience will be yours alone.

Now, with that being said, I would like to mention that unlike normal reality shows (if "normal" can be applied to them), I will not be able to update weekly. Being a busy student and still living at home doesn't give me a whole lot of free time, not to mention I am also in the middle of another, non-pony fanfiction which has precedence over this one.

But never fear! My Little Reality Show will not be forgotten! Thank you all for the feedback you have been giving, and I hope you will stay around for the continuance of the story!

Yrs,
Miss Earl Grey

1321917 ^^ You're such an excitable fellow, Batty.

Off to read The Derp Knight. :trixieshiftright:

Of course I'm excited Earlie, this is going to be a very fun read indeed (and buck me I just rhymed... I hate rhyming :twilightangry2:).

And thank you so much, I hope you enjoy "Batmare Begins"! Hopefully I'll get some more written today; progress is going rather nicely on Ch. 3's editing and Ch. 4's writing.

A fun read indeed?
I suppose I succeed
at making a story worth reading.
For you good sir,
full of such good breeding,
and with a hairline that's no doubt receding,
would not read my story unless 'twas in needing
of nothing at all, and so I must say,
have a marvelous read, and therefore, good day!

Coming from anyone else that'd get a virtual slap from me. From you, however, it only receives Woonahugs! WOONAHUGS INCOMING!!!!!!!!!!!!! :raritystarry:

1321953 How on EARTH can you hate rhyming? Its one of the funnest and easiest things to do!

*all poets in the world storm my house with torches and pitchforks*

*snuggles Woona*

1321955

Oh, I don't mind a good rhyme (and yours actually was pretty good), I just mind bad or cheap or lazy rhymes. Dr. Seuss is a BOSS!!! I also hate it when I unintentionally rhyme in conversation. :trollestia:

1321964

*doesn't like rhyming*

*but likes Dr. Seuss*

:rainbowhuh:

Incidentally, I find myself with little patience for poetry that doesn't rhyme.

1321966

You're not a fan of the Iliad or Odyssey then, I'm guessing (or are we not counting epic poems that are thousands of years old, just your run of the mill poetry? Incidentally, I love Emily Dickinson as well, and she very often rhymes). But anyways, my apologies, I must be distracting you from "Batmare Begins". Certainly don't want to distract one of my own readers from their read! :derpyderp1:

1321973

Oh, no, I actually love the Iliad. ^^ That's more of a saga though, not really a poem. I would hardly use the stuff my English professors cram down my throat as "run of the mill", but I just don't like reading things that are lyrical and introspective and don't pay any attention to rhyming. Or rhythm, for that matter.

And between the Muttonheads, you, and BB, I've been hopping between three open tabs for a while now. xD

Impressive! And I see what you mean; while rhyming is not something I need in my poetry, good rhythm is! Well, happy reading Earlie, and once again congratulations on your fantastic start here on FimFic!
