So I thought I might mention on here that I've submitted a silly one-shot that's been bouncing around in my head for a while. Don't worry though, Wonderbolt Down isn't going to be vanishing any time soon. In fact I hope to have a chapter up Saturday or Sunday. That project is nearing its final phases and that got me to wondering. What next?
Maybe do a 5S/4 from the perspective of Brighteyes (Derpy)? Or maybe run with that Five Score Divided by Four and a Few Years More idea? Combine the both? Do some more absurd one-shot stories? Or maybe start kicking around another totally unrelated large project? Any preferences out there in FiMFicLand?
Well, right now I'm waiting for that one-shot to pass moderation so it can deprive me of some more sleep. Arghle...
Beside that, what ideas for unrelated large projects would you consider.
The Brighteyes story sounds interesting, I'd definitely follow that one...

I've got some ideas floating around for a story set in the days before Equestria was founded, but at the moment they're a bit on the vague side. The world wasn't exactly a happy place a long long time ago. My other idea was following the misadventures of a robot that lands in present day Equestria and begins exploring. The twist? Personality based on the Crocodile Hunter and insists on getting into pony's personal space to film them.
The Brighteyes story would probably be on the short side, though a bit sad. Jumping to years after the events of 5S/4 would be, well... Kind of hard to avoid sci-fi stuff really if you want to be at all accurate to how things are going.

I admit I've never seen "The Crocodile Hunter" (being from Germany and all that).
The protagonist being a robot sounds funny, too.
But filming a nature documentary on ponies with no regards to personal space? Definitely!
