Far Away's preview and things that i want to make clear

I'm already working on Far Away's first chapter (UI sequel) and maybe in a few days i'll put it here in FF.

But now i want to make clear some things about the 'world' that it's setted this alternative version of Equestria ,so you have a idea of how it looks like.

1- As you may notice in Unknown Innocence, Equestria it's not in another world, is in the same world as the humans.

2-This may sound strange, but know that this 'world' it's not the Earth, (remember the alternative universe tag) you don't have to see it as the same planet where we live, you have to see it as a.....well....'alternative earth' i think it's how i can name it.

3-Equestria is south of what it would be the Sahara dessert, but this one is smaller than the real one(remember DON'T SEE AS IF IT'S THE EARTH), that makes Equestria being sepparated from the humanity at the north by the Crystal Mountains first and then by a dessert.

4-The humanity here are medieval-like but it's not settled on what we know as the medieval age, and when i say this, i mean that the civilizations, countries and the way they are is not the same as the timeline they are supposed to be set, there are Romans, Gauls, Iberians, Greeks, Egyptians, Bretons, Persians....but all them are a bit more avanced than they were in their real time, so lets just say that these humans are far more different than how they're had to be.

5- Humans don't know about the existence of Ponies, as Ponies don't have any idea about the lands were humans live and only know each other through legends and ancient stories, no one of them had contacted or travelled between them.

And now, a little preview of the first chapter.

Canterlot, capital of Equestria, made in the middle of a mountain aside a waterfall, with his featuring white and gold buildings, the city where I was raised, the place where I lived for eighteen years under Princess Celestia’s wing as her adopted son.

Four years…..four years away of this land, four years waiting for this day.

I’m looking at the great magic shield surrounding Canterlot, very unusual thing; Celestia told me once years ago that the magic shields were only used to protect the city when it was really needed, so I fear something big is going to happen soon.

The wonderful memories of my childhood ran through my brain as the bad ones, my life in Canterlot changed a lot since…..that happened, the day when I lost……my love.

And the innocence……

Images started to appear in my mind, I saw the good moments I had with Celestia, Cadance, Shining Armor, Twilight and……her, The mare I used to love.

She was…..special, different, not only to me but also to the rest of ponies, I remember her dark ebony coat, emerald eyes, blue silk mane and tail as her ‘cheese legs’.

And her name...I still remember her name, but I refuse to say it, to evade painful memories.

Quiet curious the fact that it’s the only thing that makes change my mood between all the things I had abandoned when I left Equestria, my life as noble, my family, my friends, I ran of all that to search myself, to know who I really am, to face my….destiny.

And what a destiny…..

But now all that doesn’t matters, tomorrow I’ll return to my home, to Canterlot, and I can’t imagine the face of everyon- I mean everypony when they’ll see me a bit grown up, with dirty and quite large hair, beard covering chin and cheeks, as the strange armor and a pair of black furry pants that I’m wearing right now.

Sadly, I don’t come alone….

“HEYNRIIK! THE MEAT IT’S READY!”............

And to finish this post i want so say that i'm sorry if you're still dissapointed by all this 'Gaiaverse'(That's how i want to name this 'alternative world')thing, and that the reason i make all this it's because i wanted to try something original or at least that wasn't used very often in HiE stories.
