So I got this idea...

I'm a shit writer but I think I'm going to take a crack at writing a decent length story. It won't be for a while yet do to the fact I have NO time right now. I'm sure it will be full of plot holes, terrible grammar, and poorly developed characters. But I promise to spell check! The story will be set in the west following the Equestrian Civil War and follow a band of ex soldiers trying to start a new life in the frontier. It will probably contain a few regular and background ponies from the show as well as many original characters. "Only the dead have seen the end of war" Follow the life and times of a ex Confederate stallion as he literately carves a new life for himself and his newly found love out of a mountain in the biggest gamble of his life! Danger with every swing of the pick and around every curve in the river. Watch him fight off claim jumpers, Bandits, Savage Buffalo, and the very mountain itself! Gunfights, barfights, And maybe even one very large explosion may ensue! I have all these ideas in my head but no time to put them down on paper. I do hope I get to write this one day.
