Update on writing

Hi guys! Just writing in to show you I'm not dead or anything. My school announced about a month ago their art/literary magazine they do once a year, and I decided that I'd write a short story and submit it; this basically took up the entire month of March. It's about a father who loses his son, and finds support from a little girl by the name of Marigold who was friends with Aiko, his son, at the hospital. I liked the name Marigold, so I used it in this story (no connection whatsoever to the fanfic Little Dreamer Marigold).
