Mini Review: MLP:FiM

what I feel about each episode from all three seasons, with a rating out of 4 and a comment. mind you, some may be more humorous than an actual reflection on episode. I'm lazy.

Season 1

Friendship Is Magic, part 1: 3.5/4, great introduction of all the character and initial traits in short time.
Friendship Is Magic, part 2: 2.5/4, less interesting than first episode, Elements explanations a tad bit forced, Orbital Friendship cannon still kicks ass.
The Ticket Master: 2.5/4, humour decent, but lesson overplayed. see Digibrony's video on Faust's influence.
Applebuck Season: 4/4, amazing episode in terms of animation, Applejack's character, apples, apples, I like it.
Griffon the Brush-Off: 2/4, (odd lesson?) the important thing is, fuck griffons.
Boast Busters: 1/4, only one star because Trixie. pacing was a train wreck and the writing was off.
Dragonshy: 3/4, yell at dragons, A-Team, overall fun episode.
Look Before You Sleep: 4/4, character play is brilliant (Rarijack ahoy!), good lesson, funny as hell.
Bridle Gossip: 3.5/4, book, cover, racism, Flutterguy, impotent horn, Appletini, you know the rest.
Swarm of the Century: 3/4, dammit Fluttershy, you ruined everything! keep watering those flowers (wrong series).
Winter Wrap Up: 3/4, song.
Call of the Cutie: 3/4, Apple Bloom good overall, Doctor Whooves, Bon-Bon's voice.
Fall Weather Friends: 3.5/4, Appledash no dammit. good character relations. I only ship it with a sad ending (personalities too similar to end well).
Suited For Success: 4/4, Rarity is brilliant, showing her depth, first song I loved, dresses and shit.
Feeling Pinkie Keen: 3/4, nothing to say really.
Sonic Rainboom: 4/4, Rainbow development, Rainbow awesome, Rainbow-tastic, Dirk and Rainbow kick ass, Rarity is Icarus.
Stare Master: 3/4, CMC are awesome, stare at birds.
The Show Stoppers: 2.5/4, CMC are dip-shits at times, hair-metal FTW.
A Dog and Pony Show: 3/4, ehh, it's an episode. nothing more to say.
Green Isn't Your Colour: 3.5/4, good character interaction, adorable Twilight, and funny.
Over a Barrel: 4/4, they showed this on American TV without censorship? (the whole relation to Aboriginal Tribes) cool dudes, problems solved, yeah.
A Bird in the Hoof: 3/4, Benny Hill, Trollestia, British Guards, more stuff.
Cutie Mark Chronicles: 4/4, backstory? awesomeness? complexity in a kid's show? but still, I say Screw Destiny and make your own. but great episode.
Owl's Well That Ends Well: 2/4, blood. owl. who.
Party of One: 4/4, when Pinkie sobers the hell up from parties, she's scary. honk. HONK. honk. HONK.
The Best Night Ever: 3/4, fuckery happens.

Season 2

The Return of Harmony Part 1 + Part 2: 4/4, Q's back, great villain, awesome stuff, cool shit, OFC back for another round, winning.
Lesson Zero: 4/4, the fuck, Twilight? literally all of us as some point.
Luna Eclipsed: 3.5/4, unpopular opinion, I prefer the old design, but the new one is good too. Nightmare Night rocks.
Sisterhooves Social: 4/4, more depth for Rarity, but holy shit the race surprise was cool. hella cool. Sweetie Belle is also best CMC.
Cutie Pox: 3/4, references. references everywhere. learn patience.
May The Best Pet Win: 4/4, more Rainbow development, Rainbow's pretty sick.
The Mysterious Mare Do Well: 3/4, good Rainbow development, reflecting her arrogance and brashness. she learns her lesson.
Sweet and Elite: 4/4, Rarity is character with best depth. another great song, exploring Canterlot society, male ponies????????
Secret of my Excess: 3/4, show is doing good things for Sparity, Wonderbolts are pretty useless.
Hearth's Warming Eve: 3.5/4, history episodes are good. nice mix between stage and past, original Elements of Harmony?
Family Appreciation Day: 3/4, more history, Apple founders.
Baby Cakes: 2.5/4, weird episode for Pinkie, character wise. babies are amusing hell-spawn.
The Last Roundup: 3.5/4, more character for Applejack which worked well, DERPY DERPY DERPY.
The Super Speedy Cider Squeezy 6000 3.5/4, more great songs, Apple-tastic! fun and great lesson.
Read It and Weep 4/4, references, Rainbow developed further, the fires of Twidash are shining bright, I mean, yeah, I mean that.
Hearts and Hooves Day 3/4, Sweetie sing, shipping, Big Mac x Cheerilee hell yeah, canon now bitches.
A Friend in Deed: 2.5/4, Pinkie's actions are pretty awful, Smile song okay.
Putting Your Hoof Down: 3/4, Fluttershy's actions are pretty realist, good episode overall.
It's About Time: 4/4, time play as complex as the time play in Homestuck, great episode for Twilight.
Dragon Quest: 3/4, learning about dragons is cool, Spike gets character, Fluttershy retains character from before.
Hurricane Fluttershy: 2.5/4, Fluttershy's character shifts from previous episodes, Spitfire's kinda just stands there.
Ponyville Confidential: 4/4, I've seen this lesson before, but handled awesomely here. Rarity is only nice one about it. CMC still amazing.
MMMystery on the Friendship Express: 3.5/4, who doesn't love Agatha Christie?
A Canterlot Wedding - Part 1 + Part 2: 4/4, This Day Aria, Disney level of quality, I GET THE POWER OF LOVE

Season 3

The Crystal Empire - Part 1 + Part 2: 3/4, Sombra could have more stuff, Twilight's magic is sweet, nice world building.
Too Many Pinkie Pies: 3/4, only creepy stuff can come of this, clones are funny, Twilight cruel.
One Bad Apple: 3.5/4, anti-bulling lessons are good. Babs is cool.
Magic Duel: 4/4, makes up for earlier Trixie episode. Trixie still amazing, Twilight's magic kicks ass, rule 63.
Sleepless in Ponyville: 3.5/4, different kind of episode, moment where Scootaloo wakes up from Luna dream is best audio in the whole show, cute feels.
Wonderbolt Academy: 4/4, animation improved more, Spitfire has character, Rainbow learned from past episodes, fantastic moment in the office.
Apple Family Reunion: 2/4, nothing really stands out, aside from "Racist Barn".
Spike At Your Service: 1.5/4, sudden dragon code, whole episode seems strung together with duct tape and twine,
Keep Calm and Flutter On: 3.5/4, Discord back and quite fun, Fluttershy's character works overall fairly well, beavers are evil.
Just for Sidekicks: 3.5/4, just a fun episode, pets are cool, Spike is interesting here with his attitude.
Games Ponies Play: 1/4, painful awkward humour is overplayed, feels like filler episode.
Magical Mystery Cure: 4/4, brilliant in terms of the songs, pacing, Alicorn change, so full of content and yet never feeling overexposed to stuff, fantastic finale.
