Summer Semester is Officially Over AND My Friend is Being Creepy

I normally would rather not write about my social life, since it makes a trail for said talk-about person to find, but nopony I know knows I have a fimfiction page (not even my best friends, only because I haven't told them yet ^^').

Summer Semester is Over, Time for Summer Break!

I got my grades back for the Geography class.
Overall is a B and I got a 96% on the research paper I finished in under 2 hours. I'm not saying I'm good, I'm saying the professor was a little too laid back. Then again, it was a 101 class, but still.

How does one Write Drama or Romance Well?

It's hard to find romance that I like. Same goes for drama, mostly because I never liked it in real life and the drama on TV shows is way too over the top for me to find interest in (suspension of disbelief comes into play). Any recommendations of examples of it done well?

Thinking Out Loud: My Dearest Brother

The scene in which Ice Flame witnesses Ice Shard's "death" is technically the end of Ice Flame's backstory, judging so based on the ice/mountain demons they're based on for my super natural novel. In consideration to that, it'll probably be the first scene in Part 2. However, I don't know what to do after that just yet and that's my biggest problem.

Thinking Out Loud: My Dearest Brother · 1:46am Jul 14th, 2013

The scene in which Ice Flame witnesses Ice Shard's "death" is technically the end of Ice Flame's backstory, judging so based on the ice/mountain demons they're based on for my super natural novel. In consideration to that, it'll probably be the first scene in Part 2. However, I don't know what to do after that just yet and that's my biggest problem.
I still don't even have their official names yet, but so far Frankie and Rae work as fillers. Many years after witnessing his brother's "death", Frankie gets involved in helping the protagonist on his quest to find the truth of how everything was created (yes, it's a religion/spiritual quest). From here, I'm thinking that he probably never gets to see his brother again or knows what happened to him. I'm tempted to say that he never goes find out what happened to the body, which does spark some curiosity as to where it is, not considering the possibility he survived. With that, his goal would be to find his brother's grave, still thinking he died, and apologise for not helping him through the bullying when they were younger. Rae had endured similar bullying as his pony counterpart did and his brother, just as his pony counterpart did, believed not getting involved at all was the better option since he was already struggling with the training. What non of them knew, he faked his death and survived in the demon world by becoming the social/network connections between others (ex: promoting the business of a blacksmith, going out to sell an enchanted jewelry-maker's work, etc.), living in a tiny community, but in much less war. Whether I will find a way to connect him directly into the novel after that, I am not sure yet. I just know I thought of all of this literally as I was typing it out ^^'. See, thinking out loud helps!
Anyway, I am tempted to grant Frankie's/Snow Flame's wish and see what would happen if they do get to meet again. I know there will be changes due to them being ponified, but I am still sure that it will help me think of what to do for the original versions of them. I am completely open for suggestions on this one. I probably won't and will just allow Rae to participate as a minor character in the next novel to it. Some say it's wrong to write multiple novels at once, but if they're all supposed to be interconnected, some with slight overlapping, then why not? I see it as aiming for a complete story broken up into different segments, not necessarily different novels in a series :).

P.S. If anypony is curious, the original is, as I said before, a religion search/spiritual jounrey of a demon. He grew up believing the religion his tribe practiced was the one and only, growing up with only his tribe with vague awareness that other kinds of sapient, humanoid demons existed. He follows the kids of the tribe to a black market area where they find an "exotic animal". It's a multi-demensional parasite that travels form demension/plane to demension/plane. Since he was taught that only humans and demons exist and yet sees this thing, he begins to question what the truth really is.
It branches off of another novel about a vampire fighting for equal rights amongst other vampires that separated into a caste system (born a vampire=high ranking, made a vampire= low ranking and so-on).

Ah ok, so this is all based off of an original novel?
