A Canterlot Wedding left a lot of unanswered questions. What is Celestia's relationship to Cadance? What is Cadance's usual day-to-day role in Canterlot? Did we see all there is to see of Chrysalis's deception, or did she take other steps off-screen? What, if there are any, are Canterlot's ordinary precautions against imposters and traitors? Are changelings the only beings capable of such perfect imitation? Did anyone know about changelings prior to this episode? What were the other characters doing and thinking between the rehearsal and the wedding? There's a lot left open to interpretation and much of the missing gaps overlap with more subjective questions, like whether or not someone should have noticed that Chrysalis was an imposter and the justifiability of the main cast's behavior during this episode.
I believe many people are obsessed with answering these questions in the most negative way possible, despite the canonical forgiveness and lack of hard feelings all around, because they love the idea of a persecuted character who really understands what's best for everyone and, ultimately vindicated, gets to rail against the slobs that misunderstood them.
I would like to conclude this post by noting that Twilight, completely fooled by Chrysalis, was trying to convince everyone that Cadance was an evil, horrible person. If someone told post-season 2 Twilight Sparkle that Cadance was an evil traitor who was hurting her brother, she would tell them that they must be out of their mind and they'd better not be giving Cadance any trouble.
