Considering the unwritten story that my fic is based on, I think I've done an admirable, or at least a decent job of keeping the stuff wholly reliant on that story's mechanics simple and easy to understand. Now, however, I've wrangled the story artist into helping clear up a few of the more prominent points pertaining to the story. Specifically, Somae and Alan's gods, and powers. However, even though I've got explanations for these things up, a lot of people don't like having to browse through extraneous pages to get information pertinent to the story, so I'll be having Alan keep the exposition up when these topics rear their heads, so people don't have to dash to and from our DeviantArt page to keep up.
In other news, I've gotten a lot of praise for chapter 4 from everybody, and my pre-reader thinks that he has an idea of why. Chapter 4 was extremely dialogue heavy with buttloads of exposition. Now, the exposition isn't going to last forever, so I'm hoping that the characters' personalities bouncing off of one another is the main source of entertainment. I'll be sure to keep that in mind.
